Quant Solar is proud to have representation at the 18th India Energy Summit

We are delighted to share that our Director, Mr. Pankaj Kumar, was a distinguished speaker at the prestigious 18th India Energy Summit organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) on October 22-23, 2024. The summit brought together eminent leaders from government, industry, and public sector undertakings (PSUs), including esteemed dignitaries such as Mr. Anil Razdan and Sri Alok Kumar, both Former Power Secretaries, Government of India.


Shaping India’s Energy Future

Themed around India’s pivotal energy transition, the summit addressed the country’s journey toward sustainable development while balancing economic growth with critical challenges such as rapid urbanisation, technology integration, employment creation, and climate change mitigation. The discussions emphasized actionable strategies to achieve a cleaner, greener energy future without compromising development speed.


Mr. Pankaj's session explored key aspects of clean energy and the growing role of floating solar technologies in India’s energy mix.

The two-day event featured discussions on a wide range of topics critical to India’s energy ecosystem, such as:


  • Efficiency in Energy Extraction, Production, and Consumption

  • Green Power Growth in hydro, solar, wind, and nuclear domains

  • Electricity marketing reforms and employment generation potential

  • A roundtable on “The DISCOMs of the Future”, exploring innovative approaches to improve electricity distribution


The summit also recognized excellence in the sector with the Best State Power Utility Awards and the 12th Innovation with Impact Awards for Discoms. An exclusive knowledge report on Indian Energy, prepared by Deloitte, was released, offering valuable insights into the country’s evolving energy landscape.
