2 MW Floating Solar Power Plant

  • Client : Greater Vishakhapatnam Smart City Corporation Ltd.
  • Date of Commission : 18 August 2018
  • Location : Mudasarlova Reservoir, Vishakhapatnam

India's largest Floating Solar Power Plant of 2MW capacity has been installed in Mudasarlova reservoir located in Visakhapatnam. Quant Solar manufactured, supplied and installed the floating solar system on water in 4 months. The project was launched as a part of 'Smart City Initiative' by the Greater Visakhapatnam Smart City Corporation Limited and was inaugrated by Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu.

10 KW Floating Solar Power Plant

North east's first floating solar power plant has 10 KW of capacity. This was launched as a pilot project of Quant Solar completed in collaboration with AEDA. The plant has suffered Assam floods but still stands strong and has been generating electricity since 2017. The most amazing fact is that it has lightened up 30 houses of a village that had not received electricity ever.

270 KW Floating Solar Power Plant
